What kinds of performances does Up Front host?

Comedy, music, theatre, talks, dance — whatever the show calls for. Up Front is a curated venue: events are booked through an application and selected by the team.

How do I book Up Front for a show or event?

Start with an inquiry through our booking form. Tell us about your event and include any supporting materials — past performances or similar events help us see the work. Our team reviews every inquiry and follows up.

What's included with a rental?

A venue walk-through, a two-hour rehearsal, and full venue access on your show night — plus house PA, lighting, projector and screen, and green room access. You bring your own technician, or hire from our list of qualified technicians.

How does ticketing work?

Up Front manages all box operations — no outside vendors, no setup for you. You set your own ticket prices, keep 100% of ticket revenue, and are paid out through Stripe.

How much does it cost to rent Up Front?

Standard rental is $200. Additional two-hour rehearsal blocks are $75 each.

When are shows at Up Front?

Evening performances: doors open at 6p, with a recommended 7p show start and a 9p hard end. Sunday matinees: doors at 1p, 2p start, done by 4p.

Can Up Front host daytime events?

Daytime rentals for meetings, trainings, and gatherings are in development. Ask about daytime use through our inquiry form and we'll follow up as offerings roll out.
